Set among eucalypt forest on the banks of the Glenelg River, Wild Dog Bend Campground is the ideal location for a peaceful getaway.

This small campground offers two unpowered campsites, both suitable for tents and camper trailers only. Each campsite accommodates a maximum of six people. Campground facilities include non-flush toilets, fireplaces, picnic tables and non-potable water.

Directions

Lower Glenelg National Park is in south-west Victoria adjoining the South Australian border, about 420km from Melbourne and 490km from Adelaide. The major access roads into the park are Portland-Nelson Road for south of the river or Wanwin Road north of the river. Wild Dog Bend Campground is accessible from Winnap Road by 2WD.

Cancellation Policy

30 days or more prior notice to the booking arrival date, 50% of the applicable fees per night will be forfeited. Less than 30 days prior notice to the booking arrival date, 100% of the applicable fees per night will be forfeited. All bookings and payments are non-transferable to another party/person. Camping date transfers may be made up to 2 days prior to arrival depending on availability. Accommodation date transfers may be made up to 7 days prior to arrival depending on availability. Booking cancellations and date transfers can be completed via the Manage My Booking link in your reservation confirmation email.
