Applications for the 2022-23 summer ballot have been finalised.
Please note that there are still unpowered campsites available for week 1 on the beach and river sides. The sites range from small to medium and must be booked for 7 nights from 24 to 31 December 2022.
Please read the below information and the Wilsons Promontory National Park booking terms and conditions. You will be asked to acknowledge you have read and agree to this information when submitting your application.
A ballot is held for booking Tidal River camping and accommodation (except Wilderness Retreats) for the period from late December until late January. Note, this is not a first in, first served booking process. The ballot is a random computer selection. The allocation is based on where your application is situated in the randomised queue. Minimum/maximum stays apply.
Booking Terms and Conditions and frequently asked questions
When you submit your booking request you will receive an email to confirm that your request has been received. You will receive a further notification email to advise the result of your request once the allocation process has been completed. Submitting a booking request does not guarantee allocation.
Campsite preferences
Please select your first preference when choosing a powered or unpowered campsite or accommodation from the options above. Additional preference options, including the ability to enter specific site locations and requirements, are available in the next step of the booking request process.
Only a limited number of powered campsites are available to request. Sites will show as sold if the maximum allocation has been reached.
Payment
Payment details are required to submit an application. Should your request be successful payment will be processed via our secure payment gateway.
Group (multi-site) bookings
To make a group booking simply add additional sites to your cart after you enter your initial site request. Only select the "Buy Now" option once all site details have been entered. A maximum of 10 sites can be requested per transaction.
You need to provide the details (name, phone, vehicle registration) of the other members of your group. Payment for group bookings is the responsibility of the group leader.
Total cost
The total cost shown for your booking request is calculated as the maximum possible cost of a booking according to the highest priced preference selected in your application.

Cancellation Policy
Once sites have been allocated cancellations will be subject to cancellation fees as follows:
30 days or more prior notice to the booking arrival date - 50% of the applicable fees per night.
Less than 30 days prior notice to the booking arrival date - 100% of the applicable fees per night.
Transfers are not permitted.
