Swan Lake Campground
Details
Experience the vast, mobile sand dunes a short distance from the campground. Walk along the track towards the beach and marvel at the immense height and sheer walls of the dunes.
Set amongst a significant coastal dune system, Swan Lake is a small campground with five campsites that can accommodate a maximum of six people at each site.
The public gravel road is well maintained and accessible to 2WDs, however there is a steep descent into the park and campground. Visitors towing a trailer or caravan will need a 4WD vehicle.
The vehicle track through the park from Swan Lake campground to the beach is only accessible with 4WD. Vehicles are not permitted to leave the vehicle track to access the coastal dune system. Vehicles are not permitted to drive on the beach.
The campground is accessible to hikers along the Great South West Walk.
All campsites are unpowered and are suitable for one camper-trailer or a medium sized tent, and bookings are required in advance.
There are non-flushing toilets, shared picnic tables and shared fireplaces available. Campfires are only allowed in the designated fireplaces and you need to supply your own firewood - firewood collection is prohibited.
Bore water is available but is not suitable for drinking - supply your own.

Swan Lake Campground is in south-west Victoria between Portland and Nelson adjoining the SA border, about 420kms from Melbourne and 490kms from Adelaide. From the Portland - Neslon Road, turn south into Telegraph road and then veer right and follow Swan Lake Road to the campground.
Cancellation Policy
100% refund: if you cancel 30 days or more before the first day of your trip.
50% refund: if you cancel 8 to 29 days before the first day of your trip.
Cancellations made within 8 days of your arrival/start date are non-refundable.

Bookings can be transferred to another date, location, or campground (subject to availability) prior to 48 hours of arrival for camping (only) and prior to 7 days of arrival for accommodation. No refund is available on these modified bookings.
All bookings and payments are non-transferable to another party/person.
