An attractive camping area has been developed in protected hollows between rocky ridges from lava flows approx. 250m from the crater rim.
Budj Bim Campground has 22 campsites of varying sizes; some suitable for small caravans and camper-trailers. Typically, these campsites are suited to shorter car-caravan combinations and require drivers to have adequate skill and confidence to manoeuvre in and out of tight locations.
Campsites 01-21 can accommodate up to six people. Campsite 22 can accommodate 7-24 people.
Access to campsites 1, 2 and 3 is via a short, steep, unsealed and uneven track that may not be accessible for some 2WD vehicles and is not suitable for caravans.
Toilets, water (untreated natural supply), hot showers and 10 shared fireplaces are provided. Campfires are permitted only in fireplaces provided and cannot be lit or maintained in open areas away from designated fireplaces. No fires are permitted anywhere in the park on a day of Total Fire Ban.
The nearby picnic area at Budj Bim National Park has 2 sheltered gas barbecues with tables.

Directions
Budj Bim National Park is 330km south-west of Melbourne, and 45km south of Hamilton. At Hamilton, take Hamilton-Port Fairy Road and turn off at Macarthur. It can also be reached via the Princes Highway, turning off at Port Fairy and Macarthur.
Cancellation Policy
100% refund: if you cancel 30 days or more before the first day of your trip.
50% refund: if you cancel 8 to 29 days before the first day of your trip.
Cancellations made within 8 days of your arrival/start date are non-refundable.

Bookings can be transferred to another date, location, or campground (subject to availability) prior to 48 hours of arrival for camping (only) and prior to 7 days of arrival for accommodation. No refund is available on these modified bookings.
All bookings and payments are non-transferable to another party/person.
